Let Us Debatey About The Musical Stylings Of Yooka-Laylee
Dunno why I made that a sandcastle code. Anyway. We have a fair amount of music to go off of now, to get a good feel for this game.
Seems like Grant's doing most of the main world themes, and Wise is...off being David Wise. What do you like from the music so far? I know a few people have criticisms but for the most part it's great stuff. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...bmOiAKvKqX_oZ_ |

Honestly, I absolutely love the David Wise tracks. This one sounds straight out of the DKR.

I don't remember if I mentioned this in some other thread, but y'know how Gruntilda's Lair was dubiously based on Teddy Bear's Picnic? If that is, Hivory Towers DEFINITELY is. You can tell Grant did that on purpose and I love it.
Here's a cover of said tune. Found this dude's yt last week. Almost all of his Banjo covers are superb. |

This was the first track I heard from the game ("Jungle Challenge"), almost two years ago now, and I thought this cover was excellent:

From what I've heard, it's the usual goodness. Though I think I prefer David Wise's tracks these days
