Its story based day-night, until you get to a certain point in the game, and then its based on your actual clock. Threw me off trying to evolve my favourite little chilly baby.

hand holdy is one thing but I HATED the forced friends you got in Black/ White and X/Y it should be you and your pokemon THATS what was so great about the old games

the X/ Y ****s were the most usless don’t give a shit about NPC in any of the games though

Joke was on me. The Let's Go Eeevee doesn't evolve. Wasted time playing fetch with it to get it to like me. To the back of the PC you go

I don't know how far you are in the game, but if you can, head to the Lake of Outrage in the northern part of the Wild Area. The Eevee evolutions spawn there (which one is dependent on the weather) and you can either a) find an Umbreon or b) catch any of them and breed for an Eevee.

Cheers, looks like the evolutions spawn on the island and I can't get across water yet (I just beat the fighting gym), but Eeevee spawn on route 4 it seems so will probably just catch one there and go through the evo process again

There IS a free version of Home- you can't do everything with it, but you can at least store 30 Pokemon in one box and use it to transfer them between your games. I'm just waiting for them to finally add Pokemon Go support, which they've confirmed should happen by the end of the year. I'm hoping they release something else (like Diamond Pearl remakes?) that will have the missing Pokemon Sword Shield don't have so that way things aren't just trapped in Home with nowhere to send them to.

I was working on completing the National Dex in AlphaSapphire and while I didn't finish it I'm close (as in, I have at least one of almost* every line and need to evolve / breed to get the others), and when I sent stuff up from past games I paid for Pokemon Bank. I'd probably do similar with Home if it came to it.

(*almost- there's one Pokemon line I can't get with any of the games I have, even to transfer from a different game, and that's Swirlix! Bulbapedia says I can get it in Y through the Friend Safari but that requires a Fairy-type safari which is decided based on friend codes you have in your 3DS friend list and to my recollection no one in my list generated one)

((I found a Google Docs national dex template awhile back and saved a copy and marked down everything I had in AlphaSapphire, everything I'd have to breed / evolve, and everything I could get by trading/transferring from Gen 3 upward. Someday I'd like to finally finish it))
