You have to be careful with gamesharks. They can mess up your games.

I know this isn't exactly the same thing, but my friend picked up his old N64 one day, and decided to play Superman 64, forgetting how terrible it was. When he put it in and turned the system on, his N64 broke completely! lol

This reminds me of my older than time SNES. Sometimes if i don't put in the game a right way and start it in a certain position, it erases the save memory on the game ><

Another interesting thing somewhat related is that when my friend and I were growing up we used to play Super Smash Brothers on the N64 almost everyday. For some reason, if i turned on my TV and the screen was super staticy, my N64 would not start whatsoever. If one of us took our arm, rubbed it around the TV, and touched something metal (namely my VCR on top of my TV) My N64 would work! To this day I don't quite why it wouldn't have worked

I've had this happen to my SNES, on Super Mario World.

Only complaint: It didn't come back.

Sucks Bertimaeus. SNES's can be very unreliable...

Generally tilting your cartridge is never a good idea, It can damage the game the N64 and your save files.
