I was so disapointed with that other sonic (the one with silver or whatever his name was) I refused to even try out this game.

I loved Unleashed. The night levels were enjoyable and the day levels were brilliant.

Werehog was alright. He just kinda overstays his welcome.

Yes but his name was Robotnick. Some don't like the name Eggman and wish that his name was Robotnick.
Personally............ I had no real problem with Werehog, I think they were passable and sometimes fun, but like Joe said the Werehog is terrible compared to other beat em up. I loved it but it really did not belong with a speed type game.

I think Eggman sounds better in the Sonic universe, but to each their own. The Werehog wasn't bad, but again, it doesn't belong in Sonic.

Just to point out, Dr. Robotnik was always called "Eggman" in Japan. For some reason, Sonic Team decided to suddenly start using his Japanese name in the English versions of Sonic games as well. Sort of like how Princess Toadstool was always known as "Peach" in Japan, but not in America until SM64.

Yes, but with that change also came a personality that ruined the character entirely.

Not really. His name was always Eggman and it was just transferred over to the states is all. If he was going to have a personality change, it would've happened regardless if his American name changed.

And, if you pay attention during Sonic Adventure 2, he still retains the Robotnik name. His grandfather was Dr. Gerald Robotnik. It's a part of his name, but no one uses it.

I think this ends the debate, if the people who work at Sega hate the game and hate where the company is going, that should say something.
