My Theory inc. DKR.
Hey, this is my theory of S'n's including BK, BT and DKR, you will proboably find soo many things wrong with it so please point them out!
Ok, first off this whole theory could get shot down if this part is incorrect, there is an Ice Key in DKR, right? In the snowy levels to unlock the mini game you collect an ice key. Ok, if this is false please do not read anymore  Ok, my theory is that you would play as Banjo in DKR and collect the Ice Key and go to a secret area with the Key which would be mentioned some time in BK, but beofre the release of BK they decded to drop BK - DKR swop and changed it to BK - BT, and then dropped it completely before BT's release. My theory is that if it had not been dropped you would swop the ice key to BK and unlock a door in BK to get the BK ice Key, then you would swop this Key to BT to unlock Dragon Kazooie...I don't have a theory for the eggs Thanks for reading ^^ Edit: It also looks like the same Key was used, just recolored, for all 4 keys in DKR and the ice key in BK. Double Edit: Just checked and no there isn't an ice key in DKR, but just replace the Ice Key with the other 4 keys and there is my theory xD

The keys in the games are the same because if you already have the model for a key, why waste time making a new one?

You're over-analyzing mere textures. Why would a game company be bothered to remodel a key? And there is no key made of ice in Diddy Kong Racing, they're all gold. Nor does Diddy Kong Racing link with Banjo-Kazooie or Banjo-Tooie. Don't take this the wrong way, but you're going nowhere with this theory.
I see what you're trying to say, and you make a valid point, but I don't think it leads anywhere undiscovered.

No Ice-key...sorry. But man, I just can't wait to get my NEW computer So I can't start hacking the crap out of DK64 again! This friday.
