I have to say...

I've had more fun with the toybox than I have with any other game in a really really long time

I'm glad I backed this game!

Game devs better step up, because so far the best game of 2016 is a demo with no textures.

This is so ****ing true... and also sad. Look at the era that we are at. $60 for the same brown game that has been released every year for the past 8 years.

(Not actually true though...)

This year has been awesome for games; seriously, there's so much variety out right now, it's ridiculous. Overwatch, DOOM, No Man's Sky, Hitman, Firewatch, Stellaris, Inside... There's tons of great stuff out there, unless you're trying to close yourself off from it.

All that said - the Toybox definitely has nailed the feel. The humor, the dialogue, the noises, and the pretty tight platforming all have me feeling pretty good. My only real concern is that YL won't be big enough to satisfy the need I have for another 3D platformer, but playing through this has me convinced that they know what fans are looking for.
