I personally prefer it more without voice acting. I think it is brilliantly done, and I mean, with the really bad voice acting done in the taunts (Ike excluded), I wouldn't WANT voice acting.

Also, not many of the charactes talk in their real games. Mario, Luigi, Link, Kirby, Game and Watch, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, ROB, Yoshi, and others really don't say many sentences in their games, so that would sound even weirder.

I like how they managed to not have voices, but people can clearly understand what's going on. God.......if the SSE was a tangible thing, I'd probably have sex with it. Homo.

HEY HEY! YOU GUYS! HEY! [/Navi]

...how do you get the secret characters not yet featured on the Dojo?

Where are the so-called secret doors for unlocking Toon Link and Wolf in the SSE?

I haven't touched the game seeing how I'm still breakin' up north but I remember reading it required either backtracking through certain SSE levels or playing through it a second time.

Also: Can I still "Hiii Hii hiii hii hiii hiii hii hiii hiii hiii hiii hiii hi hiii hiii hii hii hii hiii hiii hiii hiii?" (and is he actually decent this time?)

"Hiiiiiii!" has been nerfed a bit, so to speak. Although you could still make it annoying.

Haven't played Kirby QUITE enough yet to judge, but he does seem improved from Melee.

Is it just me, or is it weird that the Trophy Gallery lists Kirby's SERIES as "Kirby Super Star"?

I thought the SSE was awful, but admittedly worse the second time. Sakurai claimed it could have stood as its own game, but I certainly wouldn't have bought it if it was.

The second part was just ballsuckery though.

On a system like the wii - which features such platinum hits as Game Party and Cruisin'- I'm pretty positive that SSE could stand on it's own.

Does anyone else find it odd that in the events menu where #6 is titled " Super Bowser Bros." the description says "Want to see what it's like to be Mario ?" and then upon starting it you wind up as bowser ?

I loved every bit of the Subspace other than the way they tacked on Sonic. They literally just tossed him in there. Why even bother?

I think the point is that Mario always gets to fight and win so by playing Bowser you get to experience Mario's fighting and winning.

I hear ya loud and clear, Strandomguy. I'll probably just buy Melee and a GC control to pass the time between now and whenever the hell Brawl get's released in Aus =/

Not digging the whole nunchuck+wiimote setup at all here. While the controls themselves aren't bad in this style, it just doesn't feel very comfortable without something bridging the two together. That said, seeing how I've never owned a GC (My SSBM fixes were all done at friends' places), should I go with a classic controller or the GC controllers? (Personal opinion weighs heavily in the court of GC ones right now)

I have tried out the Wii Remote by itself, the Nunchuck combination, and the GameCube controller, and personally I find the GameCube controller most comfortable and easy to use. If I had a suggestion, it would be to use the GameCube controller at least until the other control styles work better for you.
