Big Huge Games is likely closing down within sixty days if publisher THQ cannot find a buyer in the near future, according to a news article by Kotaku.

Why is this of interest to a Rare community? Well, you may recall a news post from July of last year stating that Banjo composer Grant Kirkhope was leaving Rare to move to the US and work at Big Huge Games as an audio director. Thus, this new development leaves the much-beloved composer's future uncertain, but our hopes are with him.
