Diddy Kong Racing DS screenshot
A screenshot from Diddy Kong Racing DS has surfaced in the light of E3. The screen layout is like you would expect from a racer, with the main action on the top screen with the lower touch screen being the overall map, displaying nearby opponents and hazards.
This is an exact replay of what we experienced on the N64. The Big N release Mario Kart, and Rare follow up with their own game in the genre, trying to knock the plumber from his perch. I personally can't see it happening, but i'm sure we'll see an exciting adventure mode and time trial challenges.
It's not the announcement we were looking for, but at least Banjo will more than likely be in it. That said, only the press conferences took place today and 'E3 proper' hasn't begun, so there is still time left for that special announcement that could quite literally make me soil myself on the spot.
