New Scribes: Banjo tidbits ahoy!

After a break of a few months, there is finally a new Scribes on Rare's site. There a few little tidbits for the new Banjo game (and of course many jokes at the fans' expense).
  • It is hinted that Gruntilda may still be merely a disembodied head, as she was at the end of Tooie and in the 2007 Christmas Card.
  • Another returning character is vaguely hinted at with the quote, "Tooty vanished because she was taken away by the 'Rubbish Characters in Video Games' Police. Thankfully they also rounded up the pleasant but dull Brentilda and the inexplicably odd Vegetables with Googly Eyes. Although we have heard rumours that one of them has escaped."
  • More teasing at the upcoming reveal, "You'll get more than a screenshot if you keep up your cheek, sonny. We may even resort to revealing what the game actually is if you're not careful.
  • Weldar, the visually-impaired welding torch from Banjo-Tooie will be returning in the new game.
  • The "Jiggy jig" dance from the first game will not reappear.
  • The Split-Up ability is gone.
  • In response to a letter from yours truly, Gregg revealed that Bottles' family will not be returning, however Tiptup the turtle will.
  • In the same answer, there was a (possibly joking) hint at a "Sunset Beach" level.
  • Of the Jinjo-impersonating Minjo enemies, "I'm afraid that I can't confirm that the Minjos will certainly be back in the new Banjo game, and you'll also have to wait and see whether they have an all-new role, if indeed they are in the game at all." Similarly vague answer for the possibility of any BT worlds returning. Hmm.
  • In response to a letter asking if Stop 'n' Swop would be revealed in the new game, ""It might. Or we may string it out for another decade." Vague as ever!
  • Possible confirmation of orchestrated music, as Robin Beanland says, "I am frantically working on Banjo, writing tuneage to record with the orchestra in Prague sometime around the end of June."
  • Response to a random letter denies the Tank transformation from Grunty's Revenge for a return (if there's anyone that cares.)
And there we are for now! I think I got all the BK3 tidbits. 'Till next time, Banjo fans.
