Tooie Impressions
Some new impressions in from N64Shooters.com Read Andrew Weatherton's report here. Info of interest was the First Person Shootout, similar to Goldeneye deathmatches, (you can choose the length of game and scenarios etc.) as well as being able to choose to play as a load of different characters including Grunty and Mumbo Jumbo in 4 play arenas. Modes of play include:-
SQUAWKMATCH
The standard deathmatch game.
SINGLE EGG SPLAT
Akin to GE007's Licence to Kill Mode. One hit and your outta there!
4 DOZEN FUN
Each player gets 48 eggs and working on a 1 point for a hit system, the winner is the one with the most points when all eggs are exhausted.
BIRDIE BUDDIES
3-4 Player team mode.
On a technical side, the framerate is reported to be very solid, which is good news, and the widespread Dolby Surround was almost certain to appear. Widescreen TV owners will also be able to play the game to the max.
I wont report the whole thing, because we will be playing the game ourselves very soon indeed at The ECTS and you will be able to read our comprehensive review of the game. Oh yes indeedy.
