Unused Nuts & Bolts music released

Former Rare composer Grant Kirkhope has opened up his own website. The site (somewhat under construction) currently features pages on his career in general, his work as a composer, and his work as a sound designer. The Compositions page features backstories on his work with various individual games, as well as tracks from those games.

Among those tracks is a "demo" track of the original music for the LOGBOX 720 world in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Kirkhope explains that when he originally wrote the track, the level did not exist beyond a concept, and it was described as being "like Grunty Industries," leading him to use that song (and a segment of the Banjo-Kazooie theme) as a base. When he actually saw how the level was to look later, however, he decided that the track did not suit it and thus it was scrapped. However, he has uploaded it due to fan curiosity about the original track.
