Episode Six highlights the best tunes from Super Mario Galaxy. Originally, chief composer Mahito Yokota envisioned the music from Super Mario Galaxy with a distinct Latin flair instead of what we know today. He had even already come up with 28 songs before they were tossed out by Mario-creator Shigeru Miyamoto in favor of an orchestrated soundtrack. After the matter had been settled, Nintendo assembled a 50-person symphony orchestra to perform the game’s 81 new tracks.
