Banjo Tooie Levitate code
What is the code to levitate?

8112000a 4400 8112000c 2400 d1081084 0008 8112000c ac8e 8112000e 0a10 that's what it says on the gscentral but it didn't work for me. Anyone know why? Also, when your playing the game is there anyway to get back to the gameshark menu so u don't have to turn ur N64 on and off and re enter the keycode? I see a little button on the GS cartridge, could that do it? It seems like no one ever reads the gameshark forum. No one has replied to any of my posts on them. :( |
Unfortunatly BT's levitate code has always been a bit of a mystery, I can NEVER ger it to work...
And unfortunately there's no way to get back to the keycode menu once you've started playing, one of the few things which makes hacking roms look easier than hacking crats (believe me it's really, really NOT). The little black button on the GS / AR can be used for 2 things: 1: If a code starts with 88 instead of 81 or 80, it will not become active until you press the button. 2: If you have an n64 expansion pak, you should see an option in the start game menu: Code Generator ON/OFF. If that's set to "ON", pressing the button will take you to an in-game menu where you can search for codes in the games memory, view the entire RAM of the game, and look at all the graphic data. I would definetely recommend this feature to anyone with an interest in hacking, but unfortunately the in-game options are only availible on GS version 3.00 or higher... |

That Levitate code is in ASM (Assembly), it must be used because of BT how the RAM is Dynamic. But that code might be wrong if it doesnt work.. someone who knows ASM needs to test it out or even the original code creator *coughIceMariocough* |
(any follow up to this?

Here are the old versions.

wow when i get home ,im going to try them.
Whoa, those are some really helpful codes, Sub! Thanks for sharing these! :D But I can't seem to figure out how to activate the moonjump ... any help there?
Is the Ghostly Banjo one supposed to give you 2 shadows?
It might be C-Up, I forget which button it was. Ghostly Banjo might make him transparent, but I can't remember either.

WOW I thought these codes would never again see the light of day, well done
Do you have any of them in PAL? |
I can't find the PAL codes, so they might not exist. I think Ice and I stuck to NTSC for BT, because it was out first and probably had more hidden stuff. These are the old versions of the codes as well. Newest are in the codes section for BT NTSC.
Well I'm gtoing to try and port them
Although I'm completely **** at porting to I might not have much luck Are there any nearby addresses that we have in both PAL and NTSC to try and compare them to? |
What you want to port is the pointer engine (enable code). The 8030XXXX codes are where the pointer engine points to.
All of this codes doesn't work for me
To fly anywhere in BT, i use the code for transforming Banjo in Bee |
Call me crazy, but every single moon jump code I have found doesn't work. I am running it in PJ64, and the rom is the U! one...help please
If you are using PJ64, you must turn the codes on, then restart the ROM by pressing F1. I believe it's because of how it handles TLB or assembly code.
I got the moon jump code to work, but I don't know how to deativate it.
Can you help Sub? |
Like he flies into the sky and doesn't stop? That shouldn't happen, unless the code was glitched.
It's very terrible.
I managed to get out of the sky turning off the Must be on, and the Moon Jump, but then it got worse, and it's doing terrible. Here's a picture of the state. The picture. Sadly I couldn't find a way to fix it but that one, and saved myself by bill drilling into the ground. |
I get that same thing with the code, except that Banjo goes about 20 feet off the ground and stays there ... but that was with the old code I had; the one posted here doesn't work at all for me ...
Well try the real version, that's the old one:
(M) Must Be On Note: Codes marked with a * require this code to be on 81092BE0 0804 81092be2 8000 81120200 03e0 81120202 0008 Moonjump (Press C-up) 81120008 3c0e 8112000a 4400 8112000c 2400 d1081084 0008 8112000c ac8e 8112000e 0a10 And make sure you press F1 to restart the ROM after you turn the cheats on if using PJ64. |
That one must be the same one I had before, because he still goes just above the height of the roof of one of the Jinjo houses and stays there ... I can still move him, but I can't go up or down.
I tried that other one and it didn't work.
But, I found a trick to make the first code get you down, just bill drill after disabling the codes. |
Banjo Tooie Levitate code
The moonjump code's not working for me! When I press C-Up, I go into first-person view, nothing else! Which button should I press to activate it?
Will these codes work for the 1964 emulator? Or, do I have to find codes to use for it?
Should be the same.
Hey, Sub, I've been wondering, what limits the amount that you can rise above the ground with Tooie's levitate code?
There really are no limits, other than if you exceed the level boundaries and it restarts you or something like that.
Quote:
So, what I mean is, if you rise off the ground in Jinjo Village and reach the point of not being able to rise further, if you go above a Jinjo house you are able to rise an amount that seems to be equivalent to the elevation of the house's roof. |
Hrmm, weird, well I haven't used it in a while but I didn't remember that. Maybe it needs to be rehacked.
Perhaps because it is the actual "roof" of thde level? If you go into wireframe mode, you will be able to see the actual top of it. It should be a triangle like thing.. But that only seems to be in areas that allow flight..
Wire frame?
How do you go into wireframe mode???
It is a feature on PJ64 that makes all textures go away so you only see the 3d polygons.
Hey, i tried the code and nothing happened. Does anyone have a 100% guarantee working codes and instructions on how to use it? Sorry, i'm new and kinda new to codes.:o
Oh i didn't see wat was above me. I mean the Levatate code! Sorry!
How do you change to wireframe, where is the option?
